Bakuchiol Ester BCR from Bio Component Research, is said to stimulate Collagen IV production and restore hydration and barrier function. In tests, Bakuchiyl Salicylate shows a greater than 50% increase in Collagen IV output compared to the control (water) to revitalize and restore skin. Similarly, it demonstrates a near 50% increase in hyaluronic acid output compared to control to maintain barrier function.

According to BCR, its enhanced permeation is due to its advanced ester formulation. It positively regulates genes to protect from oxidative stress. It encourages cell turnover for healthy skin and youthful complexion.

Recommended use level is 1%. Lipophilic, Bakuchiol Ester should be added to the oil phase. It is stable in pH range 3.5-7.5. It is photostable when stored in ambient conditions.
